Ludovik Drolet-Anglehart
One with the force since March 11, 2020

We first met Ludovik in 2019 at the Pavillon Charles-Bruno of the CHU of Québec when he was 10 years old.
Passionate about Star Wars, he had seen all the films and series. His favorite characters were Darth Vader and Yoda. He was also a very gentle, generous child, who very much liked to be of service or to clown around in order to make others smile. He was fond of bowling, swimming, soccer, and board games.

In March 2019, Ludovik and his family learned he had Li-Fraumeni syndrome, a rare form of cancer that had affected his brain. Despite the hardships, he always remained positive and kept his spirits up. For him, Star-Wars and the Jedi were a source of inspiration.
A year later, we were contacted in order to make Ludovik's dream come true. Thanks to Mr. Ramon Martinez, we found him a life-size Yoda who came to decorate his room at the Lémerveil Suzanne Vachon house. Then we had a lightsaber fight between Darth Vader and Rey, attended by R2-D2 and a host of other characters from the Star Wars universe. At this event, Ludovik was given the opportunity to fire blasters with Imperial troops, received his officer's cap, and became an honorary member of the Imperial Fortress Garrison.

We then learned that three days after our presence, surrounded by his relatives, Ludovik unfortunately passed away.
May the Force be with you, Ludovik.
